  • Adding Reminders url field to AppleScript dictionary
    • To speed up the process of saving links from Safari in background.
  • Multiple audio sources on iPad
    • On macOS, I can have VoiceOver and music on different volume level, but it is not possible on iPadOS. Perhaps a new iPad with 16 GB RAM will make it possible.
  • Get rid out of confirmation for text field in Messages with VoiceOver
    • Since messages now is based on the catalyst, to start edit text field you need first to activate it with VO + space. Before you could press the TAB key and you would be able to navigate to the next text field and it would be activated right away. This is how it worked on macOS before, and Apple don’t need to bring over limited features from iPadOS to macOS.
  • Option to enable both speech and type input for Siri
    • For the most time I activate Siri by voice, but it could be more convenient sometimes to be able to type a quick command on a hardware keyboard. Unfortunately, you can’t yet enable these options and use them when it makes most sense.
  • Expand customization of VoiceOver on Mac
    • On iPadOS, I can turn off specific sound alerts for VoiceOver which is great. However, on macOS, you can either keep all alerts or disable all. Rare moment when iPadOS is more customizable than macOS.
  • Activate share sheet with keyboard shortcut in Safari
    • Finding “Share” button on the screen, and then scroll to the option you are looking after. iPadOS needs more global shortcuts in general to increase productivity on these powerful devices.
  • Make Music application more solid on the Mac
    • The entire application needs to get more attention this year. I dislike using it on macOS so much that I created a Keyboard Maestro macro which will pull out a list of all my playlists. From there, I can quickly play a playlist without interacting with the UI of the Music application.
  • Improve how Catalyst operates with VoiceOver
    • It feels like you using a toy imported from iPad. No matter how good developers adapted it in their applications, Catalyst still feels like a limited technology.
  • Run a shortcut without notification
    • I have a few shortcuts which control audio playback no matter in which application I’m in. Unnecessary to get this banner every time shortcut is triggered.
  • Add button to close all notifications in notification centre on macOS
    • It makes no sense that this button doesn’t exist. Even on iPhone, such button exists.

Obviously, all items in the list will not be covered, but hopefully some issues will be solved.
